This time we have chosen to begin with a dialogue between two great professionals on the need to integrate care and cure or at least control the symptoms of chronicity and rehabilitate when and as far as possible.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the COVID pandemic, several dozen professionals worked with <strong>Victoria Camps<\/strong>, based on her <strong>work on<\/strong> <strong>care as a reality that challenges all of us<\/strong>. Politicians, administrations, companies and citizens must commit to care in general and, in particular and with the content of the congress in mind, to care for the elderly with dependency and multi-morbidity.<strong>. Her focus will be on the ethics of care.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dr. Bonaventura Clotet<\/strong>, President of the Foundation for the fight against infections and a <strong>world authority<\/strong> in the field of AIDS, also <strong>played a leading role in the fight against COVID<\/strong>, both in terms of research, medical-epidemiology and dissemination. <strong>His reflections will focus on the impact on older people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ana Pastor, doctor, ex-Minister of Health and current Second Vice-President of Congress<\/strong>, has never failed to keep in touch with the reality of health and socio-health issues. For this reason, in addition to facilitating the dialogue, <strong>she will speak about<\/strong> <strong>the need to integrate social and health care from her technical and political point of view.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This conference will provide a framework for the content of the congress, based on the contributions of these three fantastic people.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dr. Josep Maria Via i Redons<\/strong><br\/>President of the Congress Programme Committee<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In previous editions of the Congress, we have always opted to hold an opening conference as a way of starting the activity.
